where is the best place to take it?,a local garage or the main renault dealer.

if your car has 16 pin diagnostic plug then any garage that has a generic code reader can check your fault codes,other wise you may have to take it to renault

Contact local garage first and ask them if they are equipped to carry out diagnostic scan on your car .
