2003 Renault Laguna oil blowing from engine stop damper area

This problem I thought may be due to a leak or a non return valve in the flashback arrester/breather pipes but I can't find a non return. Do the butterfly spindle bearings wear and leak? Please help me to stop this as it is becoming messy.
