2002 Renault Laguna speed sensor a fault?? help!!

I really need help, my speedo doesnt work, odometer doesnt work, handbrake light and abs light stays on, ive had the diagnostic on and the only code it reads is p0500( vehicle speed sensor A), i then did research and was told to replace the abs sensors on my wheels, this has had no effect, can anyone help??

You may have a wiring fault, a faulty sonic wheel, or maybe a simple fault like a blown fuse.Check connections at abs pump as well
