heater wont blow heat into footwell eather side dosent seem to change from top vents

Sounds like heater distribution flap isn't working , don't know what set up is on that car . The only thing I could find was this , whether it is good or not , can't say .

I noticed in the reviews that there are a couple of problems that people are having. here are a couple of possible cures
1/ sticking heater flap. this is most likely a siezed heater cable. if the dial has a springy feel to it it is the cable. not expensive to replace but takes over 4 hours to fit them as you have to take half the dash out to get to the ends.
