Doors fail to lock intermittently

2000 Renault Laguna 1.6 Alize
Car: Renault Laguna
Year: 2000
Variant: 1.6 Alize
From time to time on locking doors the locks engage correctly and then immediately unlock. Trying again has same result. Opening and closing doors eventually fixes fault --- until next time. I think driver's door may be cause. Any ideas on this? Thx

O/s/f door lock solenoid usually controls all other doors . Could be a lazy actuator / solenoid caused by dirt , dampness etc .Sometimes a little WD40 in lock and worked back and forth works wonders , worth a try .
