Faulty reverse lamp switch .

Hi George yes it will be the reverseing lights switch,hope this helps i had a reanault clio,and mine was located underneath the car,and its on a plug,go to the scrap yard they only cheap,and you could do it yourself,its quite easy

try unplugging the reverse light switch and bridging the 2 wires together to see if they light up make sure ignition is on also have you checked the bulbs
