1998 Renault Laguna electric window goes up and down but will not longer go all the way up.

Drivers side window goes up and down but started to shuddder as the motor kept going when the window reached the top. Now the window has wound down, when going back up it starts to stick and shudder and will no longer go all the way up.

you will have to remove the door panel and check the cables on the window mechanism they might have got tangled on the spool,if they are damaged then it will need a new mechanism
