If using correct procedure , possibly radio has been replaced at some time ?

Hi, no, the radio has never been replaced. It was working properly before the battery went flat and the code is straight from Renault UK.

Have you had the car from new ? if not it could have been replaced and Renault are giving you the code for the original set . May need to remove set to get details / numbers and check if original or not .

WHERE EXACTLY CAN I FIND THESE DETAILS?
Answered Jun 11, 2021 (1 year ago)
Renault car radios will normally contain a 14 digit serial number which can be found either printed on a label or engraved on the side of the unit. These serials are only visible once the Renault radio has been removed from the vehicle.

So, IF the radio has been replaced, with the 14 digit serial number I can get the correct code hopefully?
Answered Jun 11, 2021 (1 year ago)
IF it HAS been replaced , there are various sites that will supply the correct code for the set when details submitted .
