2005 Renault Laguna engine power down

My laguna started losing power. Feels like running put of fuel
Does it at all speeds.as if fuel.air mixture problem.also at times i get a noise from under bonnet and smoke from exhaust.it never cuts out or struggles starting. .but annoyingly low on power.

Tried changing fuel filter ?
