Electronic handbrake

2007 Renault Laguna 1.9dci
Car: Renault Laguna
Year: 2007
Variant: 1.9dci
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Handbrake automatically energises just as car comes to a stop.
To drive from standing position handbrake lever must be held down otherwise brake will re-apply itself.
Ok when travelling. Flashing red light (little round one) when driving. I believe this tells me there is problem with handbrake (in this instance)
If anyone could advise I would be grateful.
Many Thanks Steve

Not a fan of electronic h/brakes , repairs usually expensive .Probably better to get it scanned rather than speculate on possible causes .
