2001 Renault Laguna wont start

Hello,
I have a 2001 Renault Laguna and I came out this morning and it wouldn't start. The car was running perfect last night when I got home. When I put the card key in, the radio, heater and all lights work perfectly. When I push the start button, nothing happens. No click no nothing. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

Could try a jump start , or try another card key .

Possibly connection issue with the reader ,just pop it out and clean and grease the connections,that maybe your issue.
