2007 Renault Laguna air con sensor

Hi, I took my car to be re gassed today,but was told by the garage that the gas was full and that the air con may not be working due to a faulty air con sensor. Does anyone know where the sensor would be allocated and is it an easy fix that I maybe able to do?? Just to add that I have checked the air con fuse and that is fine.

Is the compresor clutch engaging when the air-con is switched on? If not check all connectors /electrical plug at compressor and pressure switch .
