Was told fitting a new hazard switch would cure it but it didn't, any help appreciated.

Every time it's happened to me it's been the indicator relay . Worth a try .

where is the indicator relay unit on a laguna 2007 1.9 dci estate?

May be the UCH (Unite Centrale Habitacle) which is an electronic control module that controls things such as central locking, electric windows, and even some of the lights (e.g. indicators.)

The contacts inside the relay snap causing this issue.
