2001 Renault Laguna cuts out at junctions,roundabouts and when slowing down

I plugged a code reader into it and no stored coded

Could be several reasons, but I know the Laguna`s had a lot of problems with throttle bodies causing the engine to cut. Talk to a couple of garages who know there way round Renaults and they may be able to confirm.

Clean or replace idle air control valve .

Did this on my laguna, what I did was first of all unclip the power lead going to the throttle body, then undo the two long 8mm pins, after you've done that, at the back of the throttle body is 2 10 mm pins, undo them, then pull the throttle body off, clean inside the butterfly with wd40, then put it back together, after that will run sweet as a nut, did mine like that ok
