when key fob inserted into slot immobilliser still on will not allow engine to turn over

Possible fault with key reader ,you could try removing it and cleaning ,greasing the electrical connection plug.

I have a laguna 2 V6. When I press the start button, the engine turns but a lot of times it wont start. Once it start it goes and for the rest of the day.
