2003 Renault Laguna blows fuses

Had a bakerlight burning smell inside the car, went to use wipers nothing, tried to replace 30 amp fuses 3 times and as soon as the new fuse touches the contacts in the fuse box they blow.

disconnect wiper motors and then see if fuse blows also has the rear wiper been working properly before this happened as wires break in tailgate where there go into tailgate so check the wiring inside the rubber grommet covering the wires
