2004 Renault Laguna oil all over top of engine

has the filler cap worked loose or has some oil been spilt whilst topping up. Only other issue could be oil in intake and leaking breather pipe.

just had my espace back after the same symtoms as yourself.oilover the top of the engine running down the back of engine onto the exhaust and burning asked a few local garages who all said the same thing,that the rocker cover gaskets had blown,took a chance and bought a set of ebay for 35 quid and found a garage to replace them,touch wood all is ok a week on, well worth a try ,cheaper than throwing oil into it every couple of days.
