2002 Renault Laguna stops when moving

My Car Stops whenever i am on motion and shows a sign which looks like a Gearbox, on the trip computer and when i start the car again it starts up and runs well , recently it shows battery charging fault stop car sign , i just got a new battery 75amH and also i just bought this car last month.

Check the earth connections from the battery to the body and to the engine block.

Check alternator charging rate .You will need to get it scanned for gearbox light , may be something simple .
