Rattling/clunking under car

When I turn engine on and switch it off, there is a clunk which feels like it's directly underneath me. Also when i'm slowly accelerating at lights/roundabouts etc, I can her it rattling and clunking. My partner thinks it may be the exhaust coming lose. Do you think he's right?

maybe or could be cat breaking up best get on a ramp and check 4 gas to see if cat ok

i had a similar problem and it turned out to be the plastic under the engine bay , tighten all the nuts and see what happens
