2005 Renault Laguna can't get ignition to stay on

Hi there, I'm trying to hook the KTS up to this Renault Laguna, however after a short time, it switches the ignition off, presumably to save the battery, however I hoped that there is some sort of sequence perhaps that allows the ignition to remain on?
