Air in fuel

2003 Renault Kangoo authentique dci 1.5
Car: Renault Kangoo
Year: 2003
Variant: authentique dci 1.5
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Car norm does 480 miles on a tank full, recentlt it cut out at about 400 then the engine cuts out, this happens every two or three tank fulls. When you lift the bonnet the fuel is running with lots of aie in it and some times has a milky apperance. I prime the fuel bulb, (diesel) and than it will run for a while 2 -3 miles then conks out again. I have treied fuel cleaner as it seemed an easy thing to try, people have suggested crap in tank, sticky fuel return valve, hole in fuel line, what do you think?

when was the last time you replaced the fuel filter as the seals on this can be a result of the air you are getting also whats the condition of the diesel spill off pipes like these are the ones that link between the injectors if these are not sealing properly then that can result in loss of mileage aswell as air in the system hope this helps
