Renault Kangoo complete electrical failure

I recently damaged my ignition so I replace the ignition and transferred the original transponder coil and remote receiver to the new key temporarily I was hot wiring the ignition but all of a sudden after fitting the new ignition switch I have lost all electrical power the battery is fin good condition and I have tested all the fuses in the car and all of the fuses in the engine bay all fuses are in good order with none blown any one have any suggestions why I have a total power failure
