Car goes great when starting from cold or running small journies
When you've been driving for a couple of hours and stop for fuel ext so stop the engine then it won't go again for a good 10 minutes and so embarrised red faces and other angry punters at the petrol station

Could try replacing crankshaft sensor .Failing that get it scanned with suitable equipment for fault codes .
