Normally somewhere on the inner door frame/body,
Round about knee height on the "A" pillar if I remember right.
So as when the door closes it's depressed.
A small black button,
Thanks for the answer but it doesn't have a switch anywhere on the door or a pillar that is the problem. I was wondering if it was integrated with the locking mechanism or a magnetic switch somewhere
Well normally a button switch covered in rubber or plastic,
Same switch usually operates the dome lamp when the door is opened.
Granted it's been a while since I've worked on a Kangoo but as I recall the switch is around the check strap on the A pillar.
If you punch in Kangoo door switch into Ebay at least you'll get a look at one.
Micro switch on door lock assemnly .
