Fan on radiator stopped working was told it could be rad sensor but can not find where this is located please advise.

Without doing an search to find out your car specifics I would think your car has an ECU controlled rad fan, the fan should be controlled by a relay which the ECU controls from readings off the temperature sender, if it works the same as I cave come across, find the temp sender and remove the plug, the fan should be activated by a kind of failsafe, if not, its a cas of trying your fan directly, with a separate power, then tracing back,

Can I ask why you think its not working,

As above , radiator cooling fan relay is a common fault .
