Flashing warning lights

when going up steep hills my engine,stop and coil light flash for a few seconds and then go out,but nothing happens which is good.any ideas please

Fault in management system,under load,advise diagnostic check,also is your maintenance up to date ,fuel filter common suspect.

Could be overheating under load .Might be worthwhile checking radiator is not partially choked and coolant level o.k . Consider flushing cooling system .

as stated a diagnostic read would be a good idea as intermittant faults should be logged.
