Speedo stops working and van starts to jump around at lower revs.

At certain times when driving , the speedo drops and stops working, at the same time the van starts to bounce around when revving low end. It stops bouncing at full acceleration but speedo does not .
A small jolt has fixed it then smooth running.
It's happened twice his week.
Any help would be good as I'm limited in car knowledge.

Sounds like faulty speed sensor .

Perhaps a connection issue that,s been rectified when you hit a bump.

Would check all your connections under the bonnet.

Check the plug / wiring at speed sensor for any broken wires or corrosion on pins .

Hi i had the same problem then i had the speedo sensor replaced and no more bumping!
