2000 Renault Espace had new cambelt 1 year ago and has just broke down whilst driving. cant see any obvious problems ie fuel. what could have happened?

Wendade, you are not really providing any clues here, so it would be hard to suggest a solution. The cambelt on your Renault Espace is only there to stop all the moving parts inside the engine from head-butting each other.

How did the car break down? Did it sputter to a halt? Did it suddenly blow smoke out the back? Did it fail to start, one morning?

I'm sure that we would all try and help you if we could.

You will have to start with basics , is car getting fuel , spark ? May be best to check belt hasn't snapped again also .
