Espace wont start

hi started the car up this morning then the engine suddenly died now when you turn the key nothing happens i have all ignition lights on you can hear the fuel pump working and the relays click when you turn the key but the starter does not turn over,i have power to the starter motor which is good ,battery is fine, the red led is flashing before you turn the key and goes out when you put the ignition on any idears on what it could be and what i can try also must say that the car was running then cut out then this happens now
