hi my display on the dash just says OFF the radio is working i just cant see what station is on or access ant other functions like adding a station or adjusting the bass etc is there a sequence of button pushing i need to do thanks

if it is an lcd display,it could be possible that the display is knackered,does the display illuminate or is it just dead?
