2001 Renault Espace centrol locking

the centrol locking on my espace works sometimes, i cannot get it to unlock in the morning. so i have to get in the passenger side by way of opening by the key, then the alarm goes off and i reach over to put key in ingintion to stop it which is a bit embarassing every morning, so when i use the car i may go to town, on car park i click it on and it locks all doors execpt the drivers door,i have to unlock it again coming back home,by way of passengers side again and then when i get home i click the key and it locks all doors ok, ive had new batteries in the key but its still the same problem can any one help, thanks
