Can anybody help with this?
About three weeks ago whilst in fast lane, the car just lost power, and OH had to coast to side of road. Recovery had to be called and reset the diagnostics. All has been fine until last week, driving along, and the engine cuts out, power steering goes. Husband has managed to quickly restart the engine whilst the car is coasting, but once it happens usually does about 4-5 times. The only coincidence I can think of, is that each time this has happened, it's the first time the car has been driven after being re-fuelled (diesel). Any suggestions?

sorry to ask but did you first start putting petrol in, and then put diesel in?. Other than that if it is losing that much power i would'nt even suggest that you have a mass air flow sensor problem i would say you have a problem with the high pressure fuel pump, take off the fuel filter and look for evidence of metal fragments, if you see any sell the car as this is a very expensive repair to do properly eg.£1800
