2005 Renault Espace automatic headlight failure causes wipers to park on screen

Occasionally the Service light comes on with "automatics headlight failure", the wipers park fully open and don't operate. This lasts a few minutes or until restart.

Usually caused by a faulty auto lights/ auto wipers sensor . You can switch it off by programming . This shows on a Megane
