2000 Renault Espace wheel wobble

mr renualt espace has got alloy wheels,whilst driving it felt like the wheel nuts were loose i changed the wheels and this cured it for a few miles but now its happening again it wobbles for a while then stops then after a couple of miles starts again anybody got any clue as to whats going on

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the front brakes binding, but not all the time. Baffled me for ages.
Stripped and cleaned the brakes and all was fine.
