2006 Renault Espace headlight flicker

Hi, over the last few days I have noticed that both headlights are flickering every now and then. I have checked that the connection to the bulbs are good and they are, I have checked the fuses and the earth from the battery - all seems ok, I am not getting any error codes coming up.
Does anyone have a glue to what the problem may be.

Might be worth load testing alternator .

Case of puting on the likes of h/lamps , heater , hrw, etc and checking alternator output with a meter . A lot of fast fit centres and good accessory shops/ stores usually will check FOC while you wait .

I have done a load test - with the engine off and nothing on - I get a reading of 12.0, then when I have the engine running with everything on the reading goes up to 15.1. I am still getting the headlight flickering, the drive itself drives fine. Would you recommend a new battery?
