Need more info to help . Why was new head fitted ? what colour of smoke ?

new head fitted as i broke glow plug and made a mess drilling it out so though i would put another head on now its nocking like mad and the white smoke big clouds also running like crap runs on up down etc

White smoke could be head gasket gone or overfuelling .Timing set up correctly ? No swarf from heater plugs damaged the cyl bores ?
