intermitant faults over past 10 days -
excessive exhaust after long motorway driving on override,
revs not dying down when changing gear
neither keys will lock doors, but both will unlock them
auto locking working ok, and self unlock works. so do the keys.

the keys might need recoding to the car they could of lost memory, sounds like it has a faulty throttle position sensor or idle sensor, you will probably need to get it plugged into a diagnostic machine could also give you a code for the central locking.
