[i] My water tank seems to just seep water through. It needs filling up every time i check it yet there are no leaks anywhere. A mechanic i know checked it an insured me this was not a problem from the head gasket and fixed some other gasket and the thermostat, Yet the problem was not solved. Its a problem that needs to be fixed especially as i regularly make long distance journeys. PLEASE HELP!

If you cant see where the coolant is leaking from you will need to have the cooling system pressure tested. This will show up any external leaks

You would be advised to get it fixed asap before you ruin your engine . Could be water pump or something simple causing leak , as suggested , a pressure test should show fault . If not , might need a block test .Could also check rad fan working o.k and cutting in .
