1994 Renault Clio heater blows cold

the heater blows hot for about 1min then will blow cold. I suspect a blocked heater matrix unless anyone knows different?

Other possible causes , but could be matrix which I think is a dash out job on that car .

check the cooling system is bled through properly and that there are no leaks,take thermostat out and test

Try reverse flushing matrix and then bleed cooling system.
