Fuel cut off activated

2010 Peugeot Partner 750s hdi
Car: Peugeot Partner
Year: 2010
Variant: 750s hdi
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
My van was involved in a minor accident and it appears to have triggered the fuel cut off. I was hit from behind and now the van won't start! Does anyone know how to reset it!

The fuel cut-off switch is situated in different places inside the engine bay on a Partner, depending upon which year and model you have. It looks very similar to a wheelie-bin with a rubber lid, and is about as tall as your middle finger.

Pressing down on the rubber cap should re-set it, but anticipate feeling a "click" beneath your finger as you press. If there is no click, it may not have been activated in the first place. If you can feel that click beneath the rubber 'lid', then you have re-set it.
