2000 Peugeot Partner van will not move

Car: Peugeot Partner
Year: 2000
used the van 3 days ago in the wet! when I tried to use it today it starts fine but back end is locked up. I wounder if hand break has locked on! any suggestions on freeing it up or what else it could be.

Not familar with that van , but if it has rear brake shoes and drums , a common cause can be shoes / h/brake cable sticking .Usual remedy is to get under and check .If cable sticking ,need to free off .If shoes sticking inside drum , a rap with a hammer on backplate normally clears .Make sure you don't get run over when brakes free off by chocking wheels if not on the flat .

check handbrake cable with handbrake released should be movement if ok next thing i would do is give the rear brake drums a wollop witha hammer to try release the brakes hope it works
