2004 Peugeot Partner ignition problem

I have an issue with my Partmer Van, its intermittent however it has become alot more regular recently.
The engine turns over strongly however it doesnt fire up.
On occassions you could start it and drive into town then when you get back in and attempt to restart it the van just turns and wont fire.
You can attempt several times without success.
Then you can come back 10-15 mins later and it will start immediately.
AA have been out on 2 occasions, first time it started 1st time and the 2nd it was towed to a garage where it started immediately too. ?♂️
Other times it wont start for instance in damp weather but after a few hours of dry it starts without problem.
Any help would be great as its very frustrating.

I would try replacing the crankshaft sensor first .

when did you last have the cambelt changed?
