2008 Peugeot 308 water penetration to inside of rear door, peugeot dealer says it is a minor problem and that a drain plug must be blocked

The inside of the rear door is full of water you can hear it when you brake, the peugeot dealer described it as a minor problem, and that it will be caused by a drain plug being blocked, would you agree, should water be able to penetrate the door window seals.

All car doors have drains and sometimes need clearing with a bit of wire .Usually just slits underneath .

I had the same problem. It was solved by removing one of the bottom push in clips which fix the Rubber seal around the door.
