Misfireing

I have been driving around and noticed, when driving at a constant speed or changing gear once my foot touches the accelarator the car miss fires and jumps which make the the ride uncomfortable, or traveling along in 2nd gear 2000rpm it will start missfireing. Any ideas why this is happening?

suspect faulty throttle position sensor. take it back under the warranty, being nearly three years old and try your luck!!! worth a go!!!

It turned out to be the cat, premature ageing
