2017 Peugeot 308 power lag below 2000 rpm

It seems that when I go below 2000rpm from a high gear I have a power lag when trying to accelerate back up to speed.
I was driving along the other day when I came upon a roundabout (traffic circle) so I started slowing down. When I tried to exit the roundabout I had a lag and the car slowed down unable to build back up speed. I pulled in and started off again with full power.

If it's as bad as you say , needs scanned for fault codes , Unless you want to guess and check plugs , MAF , for starters
