Could check wiring going from A pillar ( usually in rubber sheath ) into door frame for damage if it' s as you say , related with opening / shutting door .Strange one

It's either wiring or lock sensor, plus alarm goes off occasionally too. Diagnostic says open connection drivers door.

Can the alarm be disabled,so can use remote to lock doors instead of key

Disabling alarm would affect any possible insurance claims for theft etc .. Why not fix any damaged wiring as many others do ?

There is usually a micro switch in lock assembly that sticks and can also cause this and can often be fixed by spraying lock assembly / linkage with the likes of WD40

Weird how interior light works perfect, but driving to asda, wife gets out, but when she gets back in sometimes car says door open which i have to open and close my door which never got opened.
