alarm goes off occasionally for no reason even when the car hasnt been used for a while

Require a diagnostic to see alarm causes to know what the cause is,could try closing air vents in vehicle in case that’s triggering it.

Check your owners h/book if you have the option of deactivating the interior volumetric monitoring and if so , try that .
