2011 Peugeot 308 knocking noise

My car has been parked up for the last week, when I went to drive off today, I heard a large pop from the back of the car and a knocking noise started from the back right side wheel of the car, any help??

Could have been a rear brake sticking , really better getting it checked out to see what's happening ..

I would jack that side up and check the wheel is secure , turning freely brake operating and no excessive play . If all o.k and not too far to go , just take it easy . Other possible causes related to suspension but impossible to say without being there to check .
