Engine clicking

2008 Peugeot 308 1.4
Car: Peugeot 308
Year: 2008
Variant: 1.4
Categories: Engine & DrivetrainLeaks & Noises
Hi.
Recently had a significant coolant leak from a housing. But the car has made a clicking noise when running...cant hear it when driving so I don't think it's the tappets.
I've only had the car a week and have owned one previously. I have no history of the timing belt being changed so could this be the reason for the clicking. Also, I've heard that it's worth having an oil change and possibly a water pump change at the same time on this.model.
It has a good service history but no invoices for some works. It's just passed it's MOT last week also. Has 81760 on the clock.
Thanks

Was the noise there before the coolant leak ? Have you checked the previous MOTs to verify mileage ?
