Just wondering if the back Axel making noise is a common problem in the 308,mine is ****ed apparently due to bad welding,got a price of €1,100 for new one ,my warranty is out since March even though I thought it was five years anyone else had this problem and is there any other way of fixing it without replacing whole Axel

Sure fit a S/H used one,
there's a shed load on Ebay.

You may end up with one just as noisey….go to dealer and see if you can have a repair carried out.
